About Patti
Patti grew up in Englewood, NJ and attended the Dwight-Englewood School, where she excelled in athletics. Patti graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1993 where she met her husband Dan. Following graduation, Patti served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, living in Sacramento, CA, and working at Loaves and Fishes. She moved to New York City, embarking on a career in broadcast journalism for the next fifteen years. She received a Master's at the Columbia Journalism School. Patti and Dan settled in Chatham, NJ, raising their four beautiful children.

Patti was a lover of people. Her network of friends spanned every stage of her life. Her humor was prodigious, and she mastered the laugh that drew tears. Everyone felt special in her presence, and she would say it was because they were special to her. Friends aptly described Patti as the perfect blend between Grace Kelly and Gilda Radner.
Patti was known for her generosity. She demonstrated it in countless ways to her extended family, her many friends, and the organizations she cared about. She volunteered at Homeless Solutions in Morristown, NJ and encouraged her family to share her commitment to help those who could not help themselves. Everyone could count on Patti to say yes. In death, Patti remained generous, donating her organs and giving life to two strangers on the evening she passed.Â

By embracing Patti's art of SHOWING UP, we continue to honor Patti's legacy and spirit.Â
